●A Class 150 clean factor means that only 150 suspended particles of 0.5 µm in size exist in 1 ft3.
■ NX Round System
The NX Round System incorporates a multiple-stage filter into STOLZ’s Round System that supplies and circulates at a determined flow rate dehumidifying air of –50˚C generated by a heatless dry air unit through a closed system consisting of a completely airtight blower, heater and dryer drum.
■ Closed conveying system
The closed conveying system transfers plastic to the molding machine over an airtight circuit using suction force. Because secondary air is not drawn into the circuit, it shuts out moisture found in the surrounding environment, thus enabling thorough drying.
■ Exceptional drying performance
No matter which engineering plastic resin is used, the DEZAT NX series demonstrates exceptional drying performance that improves molding precision. Operations can be smoothly resumed from the stopped state, as stock in the drum does not absorb moisture while the system is not running.
■ High clean factor, contamination-free
The drum attains the same Class 150 clean factor standard for clean rooms thanks to a newly developed 3 µm fine-mesh filter element, an originally designed clean valve and #400 polishing of all SUS304 surfaces that come in contact with stock. The NX series dries resins used for precision molding of light guides, lenses and other optical components without allowing contamination, and reduces defects caused by infiltrated foreign matter, hence helping manufacturers to improve their production efficiency.
■ Applicable with N2 gas circulation
An N2 gas connection port (ø6 mm) comes as part of the standard equipment for introducing N2 gas. (N2 gas cannot be circulated at the same time as dry air from the heatless dryer unit.)
■ Easy maintenance
The drying drum is structured with wide openings at the top and side so that stock loading and maintenance are speedy and easy.
■ Inverter-controlled supply blower
The material supply blower is inverter-controlled, making it possible to adjust transport speed so as to minimize material damage and dust generation. For specifications, contact us.
■ Stock feeding to 2 molding machines
The NX series can supply dried resin stock to 2 molding machines using multiple feed branch lines and air branch valves.
■ Line filter
A line filter can be installed on the molding machine hopper to thoroughly remove dust. Applicable models are shown in the table.

■ Hopper plate and attachment for installation on molding machine
An installation plate and attachment are separately needed to install the hopper on molding machines that do not meet the standard specifications shown in the table, therefore indicate those specifications when ordering.

■ Hoses
Specify the length of the bare stainless steel flexible hose used to convey stock. (Ferrule ends, 0.5 m markings from 1 -- 5 m, lengths over 5 m possible by connection) Suction hoses of the same length as material hoses are automatically selected.
■ Power cable
The standard power cable is 4 m long, but other lengths are available.
■ Color
Provide samples if desiring colors other than the STOLZ standard color (shown in photos).
